          The gas station on the corner was a Texaco gas station in 1951 and was later converted to a Standard Oil gas station in 1954.

          62112   No visit to Main Street in Twin Bridges, Montana is complete without seeing the Blue Anchor Bar & Restaurant.
          The top story of the building has a restored Masonic Meeting room from 1897.
          After a successful day fishing the Ruby River near Alder, Montana we would roll though Twin Bridges on the way home.
          As young kids, we always wondered how the "Blue Anchor" got it's name. In our imagination, we pictured an
          old "Sea Captain" setting down "roots" in Twin Bridges long ago. :o)
