          There is a wonderful reminder of the "Oil Boom" of 1920 - The two story building on Lepper Avenue.
          By 1923 Winnett, Montana had a population of 2,000.

          The Milwaukee Railroad first came to Winnet in 1919.  The railroad hauled cattle, wheat and the newly discovered oil
