We will visit two lakes on the Glacier National Park map that most people never make the time to visit. From the West Entrance of the park, let’s ride ten miles to the Quartz Creek Lake and Logging Creek Lake Trailheads. Both sites offer solitude because they are off the “Beaten Path.” During all our travels across Montana, we have learned, it is always a good idea to carry lots of drinking water in your vehicle. We discovered many of the remote Glacier Park campgrounds didn’t have drinking water. For instance, Quartz Creek, Logging Creek and the Cut Bank campground on the east side of the park, didn’t have working pumps.
