Welcome to the Big Sandy, Montana Picture Tour  

If at all possible, try to ride Highway 87 to Big Sandy, Montana during the month of June at the end of the day. Don’t worry, you can camp south of Big Sandy at the Coal Banks Landing on the Missouri River or stay in town.  What you will see for all your effort,  is a light show unique to the Big Sandy area. For some reason the sunlight during the sunset is so intense it will take your breath away.  If you are lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights during the night while camped down by the Missouri River.
